OMG Jill, I couldn't have found you - or you me - at a more opportune time. Writing is my passion, as is reading. I have had three books published - all on Amazon and not many sales. I have written the first book of a trilogy and sat down to continue with the second and found that it had completely disappeared from my computer. Two Geek Squad technicians couldn't retrieve it. I suffer from both lifetime anxiety (genetic) and hypervigelence so was certain I was going to throw myself off our 18th floor balcony. Is was about 5 pm and I was still in my nightgown so knew I couldn't go outside to do something drastic. Somehow I quickly felt the same calm I did when given a cancer diagnosis. Before I saw you, I sat down to write a better version of the three or four thousand words I lost. I've only started to read what you've written and can feel the thrill from head to foot. I'm 85, on a fixed income so the thought of making any money at all makes me delerious. But in the end, like I guess most of us, I just have to write to have a particular balance in my world. So far I haven't come across anywhere where you ask for money... I would find that difficult. In the meantime I shall continue reading, and then writing. - Audrey

Lovely Audrey, Thank you so much for this message. You are a gem. And I'm so glad you stayed glued to the 18th floor.

Loosing words is never easy, but I firmly believe even better ones will pour out of you. Believe that too and it shall be true.

As for publishing, way to go! I'm thrilled for you. Maybe in this series, I can share things I've done to garner sales that might help . . . or in another.

For now, keep writing (please). If you feel called to do so, you must. This is what I know to be true.

(Side note: Between My Sheets will not be paywalled. No money. I may add tiers for "more" but you'll always be able to read this series for free. My gift.) 💜
